Police still looking for driver who hit woman - Seattle P-I
Emily Lovelett was hit by a car one night heading home in West Seattle, one of dozens of pedestrians hit by cars each year. She doesn't remember the bone-crushing impact when a car plowed into her and sped off.

She is home now, three weeks after she was hit. She is recovering from a broken leg, pelvis and tailbone and injuries to her head that caused some bleeding of her brain. Her right leg is tightly bandaged and in a sturdy brace. She moves rarely and with difficulty. Sometimes she struggles to recall a word or phrase.
Her youth and good health mean she'll likely make a full recovery. In the meantime, there is the constant ache in her leg that can make sleep difficult and the frustration of being practically confined to her bed or recliner. ...
